Treasurer’s Report report read/motion to accept by May Ann/second by Brad
Old Business Approved to reimburse Terry/Loren for envelopes and copies ($19.41/$130.24).
Ongoing Reports
2. Development Committee: None
3. Events Committee: None
4. Hoffman Park: Short discussion regarding the “beer bust” that happened on a Wednesday. Young people drinking and breaking bottles. Cops were called. Subjects taken away.
5. Membership Committee: 26 new members/120 total members.
6. Publicity Committee: Draft of newsletter passed out; discussed and edited. Terry made a motion to accept and Myke second.
7. Safety/Homeland Security: Loren met with Core Council. They now have documents with explicit directions and “how tos” under different emergency situations. He attended a conference at Pima County Health regarding “pandemic” issues and specific procedures.
8. Web Site Committee: Ray still waiting for password. We that were present all agree we need to “get ugly” to get a response.
New Business: Contact was made with Andy Romo regarding the project idea that Loren & Elsie previously proposed. Apparently he is working on a “major” project. He turned down the Hilton and still does not want to sell the property.
Rick Green mentioned that we have a donated (Richard Flores) POW flag. Discussion re possibly flying it at the triangle on special occasions. Barb Stoddard will contact Monique. Tabled for further discussion.
